FIRST PROMOTIONAL SHORT FOR THE FULL MOON RADIO

It only took four years to get on board the social media train! Sure- a little late to the party, but make no mistake.. It was 100% an intentional decision. When I really start to think about it, I still get annoyed with the social media first approach to music/art/promotion.. That might've actually had something to do with the decision to not want to adopt the technoloy in the early stages of building Turtle Island Tunes/Full Moon Radio.. It's not that I never utilized social media (i.e. Facebook).. I dabbled with it for the Gaënö' page (pre-syndication mostly).. The bad taste undoubetdly came from paying for posts to be boosted, only to have them change their algorithms and somehow lose all of my posts in the process.. ***Poof*** just like that- gone. During this observational period, I also coudln't help but notice how terrestrial radio ALWAYS seems to be ignored by the algorithms.. Between these frustrations, and just being too busy with production, family, misc work/projects, I thought it best to build everything else up first.

Anywaaaay- Here we are. Cheers, or something. The first blog after making my first posts. All cynicism aside, I am pretty excited. SInce starting the production company, I've been developing plans for live, interactive ways to bring my various projects together.. Getting this up and going is a big step in that direction, so it really feels "real".. Know what I mean?
